Welcome to MACHWERK at Alte Münze. We are building the future where history happened. Located in the heart of Berlin at historic Alte Münze, MACHWERK provides 345 sqm of office and event space for coworking, workshops or evening meetups. Members enjoy the following amenities:
- 2 large co-working areas that host up to 65 people
- 3 fully equipped meeting rooms accommodating 12 people each
- Free drinks (water, coffee, milk) and basic office supplies
- kitchen and bar incl. fridge, freezer and dishes
- Use MACHWERK-spaces for events after regular working hours (incl. event space & bar for evening events for up to 100 guests)
As part of the historic Alte Münze site, MACHWERK is complemented by a unique outdoor setting including a garden (Münzgarten), a café with outside seating and several indoor and outdoor event spaces that can be booked as add-on (hosting up to 500 people).

MACHWERK is fair. Non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurs pay less. Companies create impact by supporting their fellow makers. We offer the following packages:
- SINGLE MAKER (flexible desk for 1 person): 99 Euro/month
- FIXED DESK NGO (1 fixed desk for members of NGOs and Social Startups): 129 Euro/month
- FIXED DESK COMPANY (1 fixed desk for employees of companies): 189 Euro/month

SUSTAINABILITY (100% NON-PROFIT):
At MACHWERK you do not only experience an exceptional office and event space, you also do something good: All proceeds of MACHWERK go to social projects in Berlin. Currently, we are raising funds for the integration project “Active Newcomers”. It helps refugees and migrants in Berlin to participate in society through volunteering activities and make a smooth transition into the job market.
